Sound Insulated Inspection Hatch with Magnetic Fixings | PMLdB
There is an acoustic-insulated version available for the popular inspection hatch with magnetic fixings (PMLdB). With magnetic fastening, they can be installed quickly and effortlessly without extra studs, frames, or tools. Inside the cover, acoustic wool provides sound insulation, leaving room for magnetic fasteners on the edges. The hatch is completely removable, requiring only ~40 mm of free space on the facade side, making it suitable for tight spaces as well.

Thanks to the hanger, the cover can be left hanging while working, eliminating the need to bring it down separately. PML hatches are delivered with standard fasteners and hanging equipment.

Frame outer dimension = nominal size of the cover
Size of the installation hole = nominal size of the cover –50 mm
Depth 40 mm inwards from the installation surface
There are several easy mounting options for fixing:
- Standard fixing for 13–16 mm structure (plasterboard, panel, furniture board)
- U24 fixing for 24 mm structure (double-layered plasterboard)
- Spring fixing for 8–24 mm structure (thickness varies on the sides of the opening)
- L-fixing for thick construction (screwed into concrete or stud from the inside of the opening)
