Fire-Rated Inspection Hatch for Walls and Ceilings | EI30PTL
Type-approved EI30 fire-rated hatches for both horizontal and vertical constructions are characterized by durability and a finished quality. With our patented fastening mechanism, installation is effortless, tool-free, and doesn’t require studs or frames around the opening. Additionally, the frame of the hatch can be screwed or nailed to rigid studs or stone structures.

The patented quick installation mechanism is designed for double-layered plasterboard (2×12.5 mm). Additionally, the frame has holes for screw and nail fastening.
Size of the installation hole = nominal size of the hatch
(hinge on the latter side)
Frame outer dimension = nominal size of the hatch +35 mm
Frame depth = 42 mm inward from the installation surface
Standard model delivered with 7 mm triangle lock.
Other lock options are also available, including:
- Hole for lock (readiness for installation afterwards)
- 10 mm triangle lock
- Serializable furniture lock, Abloy CL100
