Inspection Hatch with a Patented Quick Installation Mechanism | PTL
The standard model inspection hatch can be installed in walls or ceilings. Our patented mechanism ensures a quick, effortless installation. The mechanism is designed for single and double-layered plasterboard structures with thicknesses ranging from 1 to 26 mm. Installation is tool-free and doesn’t require studs or frames around the opening. Additionally, the frame of the hatch can be screwed or nailed to rigid studs or stone structures.
The hinged cover locks into the frame's nodules when pressed shut. Similarly it can be opened using a small chisel-head screwdriver through the cover’s edge openings.

Frame outer dimension = nominal size of the hatch +25 mm
Frame depth = 42 mm inward from the installation surface
Standard models without lock. Locking can be installed upon request:
- Hole for lock (readiness for installation afterwards)
- 7 or 10 mm triangle lock
- Serializable furniture lock, Abloy CL100
