Building wedges with plenty of uses

Kiilax building wedges are a familiar helper when fitting doors and windows. For exterior doors, wedges provide support alongside polyurethane foam, as specified in the installation instructions. They’re also useful for setting the expansion gap between a floor and a wall. Any excess length can be snapped off easily by striking the exposed end, for example with a hammer.
