Sound insulated (dB) inspection hatch | PTLdB
Suitable for walls and ceilings, this sound-insulated hatch combines durable construction with a neat finish. The patented quick-fixing mechanism allows fast, straightforward installation without additional battens or studs around the opening. It can be fitted without tools.
The hatch contains 40 mm thick sound-insulating wool, with a vapour-sealing gasket between the cover and frame.
- Material: hot-dip galvanised steel
- Powder-coated in RAL 9010, fine-textured matt white
- 7 mm triangular lock

The patented quick fastening mechanism, which is also used in Kiilax fire-rated hatches, is designed for double-layered plasterboard, and the frame also has holes for screw and nail fastening.
Hatches equipped with different locks are also possible, e.g. 10 mm triangular lock or ABLOY CL100 cam lock with custom keying.

The dimension of the installation opening = the nominal dimension of the hatch
Outside dimension of the lid = nominal dimension of the hatch +35 mm
