Brushed, anodised aluminium
Made from brushed, anodised aluminium, this threshold is a practical choice for renovation projects where dimensions can vary from one doorway to the next. Aluminium is softer than stainless steel, making it easier to cut and adapt on site.
The supplied plywood strip spans the opening between the wall studs, allowing the waterproofing to continue across the wall, floor and raised threshold. The aluminium profile fitted over it has the same length, helping to protect the door frame and trims from moisture. The threshold is recessed into notches in the frame for a tidy joint.
