Marvea: “It Is a Pleasure to Work with Good People”

Marvea Oy is a relatively young company, but it has grown quickly. Founded in 2019, it now employs around twenty people on its construction sites and just over ten in the office.

Current work includes a terraced and semi-detached housing project in Kangasala. The site foreman is Mari Hämäläinen, who originally joined Marvea with a group of colleagues she already knew.

Hämäläinen joined the Kangasala project for the interior works, a stage she particularly enjoys. Depending on the project and site schedules, foremen may stay for the whole construction period or join at a suitable stage.

• “This has been a pleasantly small project with plenty of detail. My responsibilities have included purchasing fittings, such as these inspection hatches. I have known Kiilax products since my work placements as a student, and I have had good experiences with them on several projects.”

“Flexible deliveries are key”

Small sites cannot store materials for long periods. It therefore makes sense to schedule smaller deliveries so materials can be installed straight away. Finding the right, reliable product quickly and easily matters.
