Fire-Rated Inspection Hatch, Hinged | EI60PTL

Kiilax EI60PTL hatches are type-approved for vertical structures. They combine durable construction with a neat finish, and the patented quick-fixing mechanism makes installation fast and straightforward.

The hatch can be fitted without tools or additional battens or studs around the opening. Screw or nail fixing to studs or masonry is also possible.

Installation | EI60PTL

The patented quick fastening mechanism of the EI60PTL-series hatches is designed for double-layered plasterboard (2×12.5 mm). Additionally, the frame has holes for screw and nail fastening.

Size of the installation opening = nominal size of the hatch
(Hinge along the second dimension (height))
Frame outer dimension = nominal size of the hatch +35 mm
Frame depth = 42 mm inward from the installation surface

Standard model delivered with 7 mm triangular lock. The key is sold separately.
Other lock options are also available, including:

Hole for lock (readiness for installation afterwards)
